The Role
About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations & Data Auditor to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency across multiple business functions — including HR, finance, and general operational activities. This role bridges financial, marketing, and administrative areas to identify discrepancies, improve data integrity, and strengthen internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit financial and operational data across departments (e.g., payroll records, vendor payments, etc).
- Verify data accuracy and consistency across systems (HR, CRM, finance, and marketing analytics tools).
- Identify irregularities or compliance issues and escalate them with clear documentation.
- Develop and maintain standardized audit procedures for recurring reviews.
- Partner with Finance, HR, and Marketing teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve reporting workflows.
- Generate periodic audit reports highlighting findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and data privacy regulations.
- Support data governance initiatives and cross-department process improvement projects.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2.5–5 years of experience in auditing, data analysis, operations, or compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with data tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar).
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and marketing platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Meta Ads, Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Skills
- Audit or compliance certification (e.g., CFE, CIA, CPA) a plus.
- Experience auditing influencer or marketing performance data.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and vendor management processes.
