. You'll lead a small, fast-moving team (imagine 0 to 1 builds) driving automation across systems and processes, partnering closely with Product to define the
vision and strategy for automation technology

What You'll Do

  • Lead and grow
    a small team of engineers, fostering ownership, curiosity, and delivery excellence.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers
    to align technology strategy with business and customer goals.
  • Design and scale automation systems
    across backend, data, and DevOps layers.
  • Explore and implement GenAI-driven solutions
    that enhance automation efficiency and developer experience.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering standards
    — scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Balance execution and strategy
    , making pragmatic technical choices that serve immediate needs and future growth.
  • Foster a product-minded culture
    , ensuring engineering success is measured through product outcomes, not just output.
  • Drive continuous improvement
    in team processes, velocity, and technical health.

Requirement

  • 3+ years
    of experience
    managing engineering teams
    , including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience
    working within engineering teams
    (backend, frontend, or full stack).
  • 3+ years
    of experience
    designing or architecting systems
    , including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Hands-on understanding of
    Generative AI
    and practical experience implementing real AI-based resources or tools.
  • Strong technical foundation in
    backend systems, DevOps, data, and frontend fundamentals
    .
  • Experience
    building or integrating automation platforms
    , internal tools, or intelligent workflows.
  • Excellent ability to
    bridge technical and product perspectives
    , influencing roadmaps through data and insight.
  • Comfort with
    ambiguity and speed
    — thrives in small teams that move fast and adapt quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and a

    across engineering, product, and business.
