Job Description :
- Lead, manage and supervise the execution of strategy and the execution of operation flow
- Define strategy for smooth operation and satisfactory service level for customer, and present it to management
- Upon alignment with management, ensure it's effective implementation to the Ocean Operation team
- Ensure good engagement and close coordination with vendors related to Ocean services
- Engage with networks on communication as needed and as escalation from BU Managers
- Review team performance and plan actions of improvement
- Maintain good relationship with internal and external customers and being accountable for satisfactory service delivery to customers
- Ensure high level data quality on shipments in our TMS (CargoWise)
- Ensure team members knowledge and performance are at accepted level across branches
- Maintain good monitoring of shipments as per guidance and compliance being set up
- Ensure operations meeting the KPI and SLA defined both from customers and or from country target KPIs
Requirement :
- Bachelor Degree from recognized university or relevant qualification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in company and dynamic multi-cultural MNC environment. Preferably from freight-forwarding company.
- Has experience in leading leaders
- Driving operation performance
- Meticulous with strong analytical & Problem Solving Skills
- Strong communication skills, Excellent oral, written and presentation skills in English
- Negotiation, Diplomacy & Excellent team working skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Goal oriented, motivated self-starter with excellent organization skills and ability to multi tasks
- Supply Chain, International freight forwarding, and/or Custom clearance understanding is to be expected
- Has experience in using CargoWise will be a plus
