As an M&A Manager, you will be part of the TSS M&A Asia team, working closely with the BD Manager and M&A Manager (both based in the Netherlands) & reporting directly to them. You will also collaborate regularly with the TSS CEO & the Realta Management Team, who are responsible for driving M&A growth in Asia.
TSS has extensive experience in acquisitions and is supported by a Business Development team for deal origination. Our approach is based on proven financial models & benchmarks, but each proposition towards a seller is unique, requiring strong analytical and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
↳ Collaborate with the BD Manager, M&A Manager, TSS CEO, and Realta Management Team to support M&A growth in Asia.
↳ Support deal-making by building and maintaining relationships with:
* Potential acquisition targets in Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam
* Corporate Finance advisors, private equity firms, accounting firms, law firms, and banks
↳ Engage directly with business owners to:
* Understand company and shareholder objectives
* Build strong, trusted relationships so TSS is prioritized when a sales process begins
↳ Actively manage the entire M&A process, including:
* Sourcing opportunities and managing negotiations
* Conducting financial, commercial, and operational analysis
* Making quick assessments of company performance drivers
* Estimating potential and identifying how to capitalize on it using TSS's knowledge and operating principles
↳ Apply internal and external financial models, benchmarks, and proven ratios to support investment decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for someone independent, analytical, and commercially minded — with the ability to turn insights into actionable M&A propositions while maintaining high integrity.
Requirements:
Degree from a recognized university
Fluent in English and Indonesian (verbal & written); other Asian languages are a plus
5–7 years' relevant experience in private equity, M&A, corporate finance, or transaction services
Basic knowledge of and interest in software companies
Strong corporate finance knowledge and Excel modeling skills
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations
Entrepreneurial, self-starter, able to work independently with managerial support when needed
Good business sense with financial affinity
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Personal qualities: loyal, confident, high integrity, and able to handle conflicts constructively
