Responsibilities
  • Assist the SQE Supervisor with designated quality assessments for local suppliers, supplier capacity building support, IQC team management, and material issue resolution.
  • Assist in the development of the company's quality strategy, quality planning, and annual quality plans. Responsible for achieving incoming material quality targets; organize the development of supplier quality management systems and processes.
  • Supplier Management: Review potential suppliers, evaluate quality plans, and manage quality agreements; audit supplier processes and products, and conduct monthly and annual performance reviews.
  • Supplier Quality Control for New Product Projects: Quality control for suppliers during the product planning phase of new projects, including setting project quality standards and objectives, project quality planning, and initial sample evaluation and confirmation; quality control for supplier design, development, and verification, including FMEA, DV test reports, banned substance reports, and OTS approval status; and quality control for suppliers during the small‑batch production phase, including CAMDS submissions and participation in supplier PPAP reviews and approvals.
  • Quality control of mass production suppliers: formulation of raw material inspection standards and guidelines, and training of IQC inspectors; analysis and handling of supplier incoming material quality issues, including organization of MRB meetings; tracking of supplier improvement 8D reports and confirmation of implementation results, on‑site audits and guidance when necessary; and management of supplier quality claim issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Major: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Chemical Materials, or Electrochemistry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality management or system certification.
  • Proficiency in English is required; speaking Chinese is preferred.
  • IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification, familiarity with five major tools and process audits, including APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
  • Proficiency in various quality tools, relevant testing methods, and office software.
