Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in 3D scanning technologies for metrology applications. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise in 3D scanning and strong sales acumen. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing customer relationships, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and providing expert technical support. You will play a key role in understanding customer needs and aligning our products to meet those needs effectively.

Responsibility :
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding customer requirements.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to foster long-term relationships and upsell additional products and services.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and documentation. Assist in the negotiation of contracts and closing of sales.
  • Liaise with technical support team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas that has been set.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and providing regular sales forecasts.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or Physics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably within the metrology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record in selling 3D scanning solutions or similar technical products.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the product or solution being sold.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills also the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service, and the ability to analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
