We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Generator Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our generator systems. This role is critical in overseeing maintenance operations, enhancing performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Performs skilled work of significant complexity and considerable difficulty in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of permanent and portable generators and equipment associated with generators and emergency power operations.
Will supervise and lead the planning, organizing, and directing of the comprehensive maintenance program associated with all emergency power systems. Will lead, train and mentor other workers as assigned.
Will supervise/ direct activities of the assigned Generator Maintenance Electrical Technician. Work is performed independently and reports directly to the Manager
JOB DETAILS
- Observes, tests, load bank tests and inspects generator equipment and systems for proper operation.
- Performs advanced industrial maintenance activities without supervision.
- Understand the preventive maintenance and overhaul of genset.
- Inspections, repairs, services and start-up load bank test requirements on equipment.
- Troubleshooting equipment and servicing generator components including alternators, wiring harnesses safety devices, shutdown switches, and battery systems.
- Arrange the schedule of team
- Complies with all working procedures, quality control procedures and rules;
- Complies with all company safety, health and environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Must be able to handle high pressure circumstances.
- Apply proper engine technical skills in the inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, assembly, diagnosis, and engine operating performance tests.
- Identify root cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps, determine corrective action through diagnostics and inspection of failed parts.
- Repair and troubleshoot engines
- Ability to plan and execute maintenance without supervision.
- Replaces parts, reassembles machinery, and tests for proper operation.
- Receives and reviews work orders/requests to determine requirements.
- Responds to trouble calls, locates and identifies nature and cause of problem, and takes corrective action.
- Plans and schedules job execution and estimates costs and man-hour requirements.
- Maintains equipment and tools.
- Maintains various activity records and logs.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks as scheduled.
- Extracts scheduled preventive maintenance checks from the asset management system and takes action as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Able to draw SLD/ Single_Line Diagram for power generation
- Assist in preparing equipment and spare parts for shipment to project site
- Site visit and preparation
- Assist with other duties as required in Cikarang office and site
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in generator maintenance or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of implementing maintenance best practices and improving operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in generator operations, maintenance practices, and diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency in English , especially spoken is required.
- Willing to work in Lippo Cikarang.
