Agung PS is a poultry layer farm located in Blitar, East Java. Founded in the early 1980s, the private family-owned business has expanded to five farm locations. The company produces eggs that are sold in Jakarta, Bandung, and Tangerang Selatan.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses and injuries in poultry. The Veterinarian will also be expected to maintain accurate records and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations.
Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in poultry
- Experience in preventative care and biosecurity for poultry
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
- Experience in a poultry setting is preferred
