Main Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze working drawings, technical specifications related to container projects.
Compile calculations for material, labor, equipment, and support service costs.
Prepare cost estimates and project estimates for container projects.
Coordinate with the engineering, purchasing, and production teams regarding material requirements and actual costs.
Compare cost estimates with project realizations for evaluation and improvement of future calculations.
Ensuring all estimates comply with company standards and meet profit margin targets.
Providing technical input and cost analysis in the negotiation process with vendors and clients.
Preparing periodic project cost estimate reports for management.
Supporting the project team in technical and administrative matters related to costs and work changes (variation orders).
Conducting the procurement process for materials, spare parts, and container equipment according to project requirements.
Negotiating prices, quality, and delivery times with suppliers/vendors

Requirements:

Minimum education of D3/S1 in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience as an estimator, preferably in the container, fabrication, or construction industry.
Understanding of technical drawings, material specifications, and container fabrication processes.
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills.
