About the role
PT Bukit Muria Jaya Estate is seeking an experienced Technician Maintenance to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and improving the mechanical systems and equipment at our facility (Bendungan) in Karawang, West Java. responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure all mechanical systems run smoothly and meet operational standards.
Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections and maintenance of all mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and fabrication tools
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new mechanical systems and components
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and address any operational challenges
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to the production staff on mechanical matters
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our mechanical systems
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School (SMK) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically in diesel, pumps, and welding.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, systems, and equipment, including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and fabrication tools
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical issues
- Experience with project management and the implementation of mechanical system upgrades or modifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
