Sekolah Bogor Raya (SBR) is seeking an experienced and passionate educational professional to join our leadership team as a Primary Vice Principal – Academic Affairs.

This role is responsible for supporting the Primary Principal in implementing the school's mission, vision, and approved curriculum. As an educational leader, the Vice Principal will play a key role in the day-to-day academic management of Primary School teachers while fostering collaboration among staff, students, and parents.

Job Purpose:

  • Ensure a safe, disciplined, and well-structured learning environment aligned with SBR's vision, mission, and curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with all school staff to achieve academic excellence.
  • Continuously develop personal and professional competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Leadership and Operations

  • Support the Primary Principal in implementing school policies, procedures, and operational systems.

  • Oversee school activities such as academic programs, discipline, and emergency procedures.
  • Enforce a fair and consistent system for student attendance and discipline.
  • Promote a positive school climate that encourages student accountability and high morale among staff.

  • Academic Development and Teacher Performance

  • Develop and manage the academic calendar, including annual, semester, and quarterly schedules.

  • Supervise and evaluate weekly plan, Planner, teaching programs, lesson planning, and classroom instruction.
  • Promote innovative teaching strategies based on current child development and educational research.
  • Lead regular level meetings and collaborative meetings.
  • Oversee extracurricular programs and ensure smooth operation of school facilities.

  • Parent Relations and Communication

  • Communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia with students, teachers, and parents.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to support student development.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the Board of Directors or school management as required.

  • Professional Growth and Self-Development

  • Participate in training, seminars, professional networks, and educational organizations to support ongoing development.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a master's degree in education or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the education sector, preferably in a leadership, coordination, or supervisory role.
  • IB PYP experience more than 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of educational theories, teaching methodologies, curriculum planning, and instructional strategies.
  • Experience in academic scheduling, staff development, and school operations is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with educational digital tools and platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of an academic leader.
