Who are we?
Our company PT Golden Ocean Line operates and owns bulk carrier in Indonesia. We are fast leading shipping, warehouse and container yard provider in Indonesia.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Chief Officer (Chief Mate) to join our Bulk Carrier fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid experience in bulk cargo operations, and a deep understanding of international maritime safety and operational standards. As the Master's right hand, you will be responsible for the overall management of deck operations, cargo handling, and safety procedures on board.
Requirements :
- Valid Certificate of Competency – Chief Mate (ANT II or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on Bulk Carrier vessels, or 3 years as 2nd Officer on similar types of ships.
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, ballast water management, and ship stability principles.
- Excellent understanding of ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and Load Line Conventions.
- Valid STCW certificates (BST, AFF, MEFA, GOC, SSBT, ECDIS, etc.).
- Effective leadership and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken will be beneficially.
- Medically fit with a valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
