About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and user-focused IT Support Specialist to become the key link between our users and our Odoo ERP system. You will be the primary point of contact for user support, translating business needs into clear requirements for our partner, who handles development and customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the first point of contact for all Odoo-related queries. Diagnose, document, and prioritize system issues, bugs, and user errors, escalating them to the development team with clear analysis and replication steps.
- User Training & Empowerment: Develop and maintain clear user guides, documentation, and training materials. Conduct engaging training sessions for both new and existing users to maximize their proficiency with the Odoo system.
- Process Analysis & Improvement: Work closely with business users to analyze their requests and challenges. Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for the development team and propose configuration improvements to streamline workflows.
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance and data integrity. Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure security and compliance.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) to provide regular updates on support tickets, user satisfaction, and project progress, ensuring alignment on timelines and priorities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in supporting, implementing, or customizing Odoo ERP.
- Functional proficiency with key Odoo modules such as Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacture and Accounting.
- A proven problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the initiative to improve processes and user satisfaction.
- Experience in Odoo development is a strong plus
