Jobdesk:
- Implement and monitor compliance with QHSSE standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISPS Code, etc.).
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and establish appropriate control measures.
- Manage QHSSE training programs and ensure employees' awareness of policies and procedures.
- Perform inspections, internal audits, and periodic evaluations of QHSSE systems.
- Handle incident/accident reports, conduct investigations, and provide corrective and preventive action recommendations.
- Prepare regular QHSSE performance reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a strong QHSSE culture across the organization.
- Communicate with external parties (regulators, auditors, government agencies) regarding QHSSE compliance.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and conduct regular emergency drills (fire drill, evacuation, emergency response, etc.).
- Monitor waste management, energy efficiency, and other environmentally friendly initiatives.
Qualification:
General Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in QHSSE (preferably in logistics, port, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries).
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental, security, and quality regulations.
- Professional certifications such as General Occupational Health & Safety Expert (AK3U), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISPS Code (for port/logistics sector) are preferred.
Technical Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of QHSSE management systems.
- Proficiency in conducting internal audits and preparing compliance reports.
- Skilled in incident/accident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and waste management.
- Ability to draft and implement SOPs, Work Instructions, and compliance documents.
