Role Description
We are seeking a
Fintech Development Manager
to lead our cooperative investment initiative in partnership with several cooperatives. This role will be the key point of contact for local cooperatives, investors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that projects are implemented effectively and professionally.
The position requires someone who can balance relationship management with hands-on problem-solving — helping modernize cooperative operations, improving governance and reporting, and preparing them for sustainable growth and investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between Cognify, local cooperatives, investors and other stakeholders.
- Lead due diligence and assess partnering cooperative readiness for investment.
- Support cooperatives in improving governance, reporting, and operational standards.
- Translate investor requirements into practical steps for local partners.
- Identify risks, propose solutions, and ensure smooth program implementation.
- Explore new opportunities to expand partnerships with other profitable cooperatives.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Banking & Financial Industries, Financial Technology, Cooperatives, microfinance or other loan-related industries.
- Strong understanding of lending, credit, or cooperative structures.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong diplomatic skills and political solving skills.
