Responsibilities:
- Assist Pastry Chefs in the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.
- Prepare ingredients (mise en place) for various desserts, cakes, and pastries.
- Assist in the production of basic pastry components and dessert plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; some prior kitchen experience or culinary schooling is preferred.
- A strong interest in and passion for pastry and baking.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a good team player.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene.
- Must be reliable and hardworking.
