How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:
- Inspection and survey for suitability of the marine fleet
- Understanding on how to maintain trading and class document/certification of the vessel
- Understanding and Familiar with the process of suitability of the vessel refers to IMCA and OCIMF
- Understanding the vetting process for Client requirement
- Understanding how to maintain vessel readiness, operational and self-verification to keep the seaworthiness of the vessel during charter period
- Contribute to other departments involving to the achievement of the project
- Creating good communication and cooperation to client, contractor, subcontractors and third party
- Active and support on documents review, method developments, and assessment whenever required
- Monitoring marine movement and ready to support onshore and offshore
- Understanding with class and trading requirement documents and certifications
- Understanding with marine construction minimum standard requirement (loose and lifting gear inspection), special /specific offshore requirement (DSV,OSV,AHTS, submarine works etc…)
- Generate the report and follow up the process until vessel readiness
- Arrange the scheduling and communication with the bidder-related inspection, including third party involvement
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree
in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related discipline. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
in marine assurance, vessel inspection, or offshore marine operations. - Experienced as Chief Officer or Master
onboard marine merchant vessels for a minimum of
48 months
. - Proven experience in
office-based marine operations
, including inspection and survey coordination, cargo operations, and vessel movement management. - Preferably experienced in
offshore operations
, including supporting oil & gas marine logistics or construction activities. - Strong understanding of
IMCA
,
OCIMF
,
SOLAS
,
MARPOL
,
ISM Code
, and other international maritime regulations. - Familiarity with
vessel types
such as DSV, OSV, AHTS, and other offshore support vessels. - Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills in
English
(both written and spoken). - Proficient in managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- BOSIET/TBOSIET
certification and valid seafaring licenses are an advantage. - Willingness to work in both
onshore and offshore
environments.
