About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Account Manager to expand our company's presence in
Nigeria.
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end account activities including client acquisition, relationship building, project management, and contract negotiation. The Account Manager will also provide valuable market insights to support strategic decisions and ensure sustainable business growth in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Prepare proposals, lead contract negotiations, and ensure timely execution of agreements.
- Monitor client satisfaction and provide solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to support business growth in Nigeria.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, operations) to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry-related forums in Nigeria.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Client Relationship roles.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and handling key accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling international clients, preferably within the African market.
- Fluent in English is required.
- Strong adaptability, resilience, and cultural awareness in diverse environments.
