About the role
Join Shengnuowei Fluid Equipment Co., Ltd. as a Purchasing Manager based in Kelapa Gading Jakarta. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's purchasing processes.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
- Monitor and analyse purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements.
- Oversee the work of the purchasing team, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulations governing procurement activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing function through the implementation of best practices.
- Significant experience (8+ years) in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries.
- Demonstrable expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
