About the role
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at The Union Group in Jakarta. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages to our customers in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment. This is a full-time position based in our Jakarta location.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and excellent customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including restocking supplies and glassware
- Providing recommendations to customers on drink options and making suggestions to enhance their experience
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborating with the bartending team to ensure consistent and efficient service
- Participating in regular inventory checks and stock management
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown as needed
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and current drink trends
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Certification in Food and Beverage Handling or a willingness to obtain one
