, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Reinsurance Department Head
to lead and oversee the company's reinsurance activities. This role requires strong expertise in treaty and facultative contracts, placement, as well as claim recovery to ensure optimal risk management and business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all reinsurance operations within the company.
- Structure, negotiate, and manage treaty contracts and facultative placements to ensure adequate risk transfer.
- Handle reinsurance claim recovery processes and ensure timely settlements with reinsurers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and business partners.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management regarding reinsurance structures and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with OJK regulations and internal policies related to reinsurance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the reinsurance team to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general insurance as a Reinsurance Manager or equivalent position.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in: Treaty contracts, Facultative contracts & placement, Reinsurance claim recovery
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with OJK regulations and insurance industry practices in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
