Role Overview:
The Solution Architect will design, implement, and guide enterprise-scale IT solutions across insurance and financial services domains. The role combines technical leadership, solution design, technology research, and cost estimation to ensure scalable, compliant, and cost-effective systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Solution Design
- Translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions.
- Develop architectural blueprints, integration points, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and enterprise architecture principles.
Technology Research & Selection
- Evaluate and recommend technologies for CRM, digital onboarding, claims automation, and analytics.
- Balance functionality, cost-efficiency, and business objectives.
Cost Estimation
- Estimate solution costs for infrastructure, licensing, services, and resources.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues.
Analytical Problem Solving
- Analyze technical challenges and propose actionable solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- 8+ years in IT, with 3+ years in solution architecture or system analysis.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred.
- Certifications (advantageous):
- Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF)
- Technical (SoftwareAG, Java, Microsoft)
- Business (FLMI from LOMA)
Skills & Expertise:
- Enterprise-scale system design across Policy Administration, Claims Management, and Customer Applications.
- Expertise in enterprise platforms, e.g., CRM, Business Process Automation, Mobile Apps, AML Systems, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Strong programming, database, enterprise software, OS, and cloud infrastructure knowledge (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Proficiency in:

IBM WebMethods, Informatica
Java, .NET
Web & Mobile Development
SQL & NoSQL Databases
Knowledge of Project Management and SDLC.
Fluent English; excellent verbal and written communication.
