Job Description

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent for every order.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
  • Assist in daily food preparation, mise en place, and portioning before service.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and cooking procedures.
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
  • Store food items properly to ensure freshness and prevent contamination.
  • Cooperate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school graduate (SMU/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Cook or Commis in a restaurant.
  • Good knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Able to follow recipes accurately and maintain portion control.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and cleanliness.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
