About the Role:

The main focus for this position is to implement in co-ordination with the Management Consultant the Sandvik's Internal Controls and to implement agreed actions to mitigate identified risks related to Sandvik's Compliance requirements. To implement agreed actions to mitigate identified risks related to the Sandvik Data Privacy Policy, using the Sandvik Data Protection platform.

This role will also be responsible for supporting audit works in APAC, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness. In addition, the role is responsible for the investigation of stock take discrepancies and implementation of agreed corrective actions. Further, to formalize in co-ordination with the Management Consultant policies and procedures to enhance the managing and controlling of risks throughout the company's processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Risk and Control

  • Implementation and maintenance of the Sandvik Internal Risk and Control Matrix in coordination with the Management Consultant and in co-operation with the Ground Support APAC process owners, the Ground Support Global Audit and Sandvik Compliance and Control Teams. Collect evidence of performed and formalized controls and upload into the Sandvik control system

Compliance

  • Update the annual risk assessment in the Sandvik Compliance House. Implementation of agreed remediations to close any identified gaps in coordination with the Management Consultant and in cooperation with the Ground Support process owners, the DSI Global Audit and Sandvik Compliance and Control Teams

Data Privacy

  • Maintenance of the Sandvik Data Privacy platform and the implementation of agreed remediations to close identified gaps in coordination with the Management Consultant and in cooperation with the Ground Support APAC process owners, the Ground Support Global Auditor and Sandvik Compliance and Control Teams

Policies and Procedures

  • Review and update in co-operation with the Management Consultant current policies and procedures to align these with the Sandvik policies and procedures

Internal Audits

  • Perform Internal Audit works and implementation of agreed remediations in coordination with the Management Consultant and in cooperation with the Ground Support process owners, the Ground Support Global Audit and Sandvik Compliance and Control Teams

Inventory

  • Guide products and assets stock takes, investigate discrepancies, locate error sources and in cooperation with the Management Consultant, implement agreed actions

About You:

You bring a tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent experience. You have a proven ability in internal audit, supported by a high attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance. With excellent analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to engage in high-level liaison and coordination with both internal and external team, you bring a collaborative mindset to every challenge.
