Primary duties:

  • Lead and identify customer opportunities as part of our HDC focus sales team in the APAC region with focus on strategic accounts in New as well as Aftermarket business.
  • Project management and order handling. Active communication with customers and internal coordination with our global project teams.
  • Implementing the sales strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving defined sales targets.
  • Identifying new market opportunities for existing and new products within the HDC portfolio and provide valuable input to our HDC product management team.
  • Supporting the HDC sales team in the APAC region in the areas of technical guidance, proper selection of sales approaches, and operational interaction with our support functions.
  • Development into an expert in the field of industrial drive technology.
  • Responsibility for the planning accuracy and reliability for the customers assigned to you. Dynamic maintenance of the relevant projects in Sales Force is essential for this purpose.
  • Establishment of strategic partnerships within industrial drive technology.
  • Taking care for a list of specific HDC customers aligned with your line manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • University or College graduated in mechanical engineering, preferably having basic knowledge of electrical
  • At least 5+ years relevant experience in New Sales as well as Aftermarket of industrial goods
  • Experience and familiarity within the Mining or OEM and a strong technical understanding in rotating equipment or/and power transmission technology
  • Independent, highly motivated and customer-oriented personality
  • Customer relationship builder
  • Very good negotiations skills, service mentality and customer focus
  • Analytical and problem-solving thinking
  • Can-Do attitude / Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Good in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing and a team player
