About the role
As an Area Sales Manager for AXA Financial Indonesia, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of sales representatives across multiple retail locations in Malang, East Java. This is a full-time position that will require you to develop and execute effective sales strategies, drive team performance, and ensure exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their individual and collective sales targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and revenue within your assigned territory
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Provide coaching and training to your team to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor and report on team and individual performance metrics
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the retail or consumer products industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proficient in analysing sales data and using insights to drive strategic decision-making
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with the Malang, East Java market and the competitive landscape
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
