Job Descriptions:
Human Capital Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to the leadership of their assigned business unit(s), providing expert HR guidance and support, aligning business objectives with employee and management needs, helping to build a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support them. Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development. - Employee Relations:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). - Talent Management & Development:
Work with business leaders to identify key talent and create development plans. Implement and manage talent review processes and facilitate initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and morale. - Performance Management:
Drive and facilitate the annual performance review cycle, ensuring fairness and consistency. Coach managers on delivering effective feedback and creating meaningful performance improvement plans. - Change Management:
Act as a change agent by supporting and leading organizational changes. Help employees and leaders navigate transitions smoothly and effectively. - HR Policies & Compliance:
Ensure that HR policies and practices are consistently applied and are in compliance with all legal requirements. Work with the central HR team to develop and update policies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, Management, Human Resources, or related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 2-3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner or equivalent role
- Business Acumen:
Strong understanding of business principles and the ability to align HR initiatives with company goals. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. - Consulting & Coaching:
Proven ability to act as a consultant and coach to senior leaders and managers. - Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. - Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. - Ethical Practice:
A deep understanding of ethical principles and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Legal Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
