Job Summary:
The SASE L2 Engineer will provide operational support and management for the organization's SASE infrastructure, focusing on Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access platform. This role involves monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting network and security components to ensure seamless and secure connectivity for users.
Key Responsibilities:
- SASE Platform Management:
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access to deliver secure access services. - Monitoring and Incident Response:
Continuously monitor the SASE environment for performance and security issues, responding promptly to incidents and ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Policy Implementation:
Implement and manage security policies within the SASE framework to protect organizational data and resources. - Collaboration:
Work closely with IT, security, and network teams to integrate SASE solutions with existing infrastructure and to support organizational objectives. - Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of SASE configurations, policies, procedures, and incident response activities. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance SASE performance and security, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. - Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) or equivalent are highly desirable. - Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and access control mechanisms.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing SASE platforms and related security policies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools for network and security infrastructure.

- Experience:
