We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated
Senior Rotating Engineer
to join our team, focusing on gas facilities construction in onshore environments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in all phases of project development, from conceptual design to commissioning and operational support, ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of rotating equipment. This position requires a professional with experience in EPCI projects within the upstream oil and gas sector, preferably from the client (operator) side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical inputs and experience in evaluation in project tenders,
    design, specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning to operational support
    for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, and gearboxes.
  • Interpret P&IDs, datasheets, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards (
    API, ASME, ISO
    ).
  • Execute capital projects involving greenfield facilities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and OEMs to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Participate in
    HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews
    to identify and mitigate risks associated with rotating equipment operation.
  • Provide
    technical support during construction and commissioning phases
    , resolving site queries and ensuring proper installation and startup of equipment.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in rotating equipment engineering, particularly in gas facilities construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 13 years progressive experience in rotating equipment engineering within the Upstream Oil and Gas industry, with significant experience in onshore gas facilities construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Proven experience with
    compressors, gas turbines, and large pumps
    in a gas processing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to
    troubleshoot complex rotating equipment issues
    and implement effective solutions.
  • Must have experience in integration and packaging of multiple pieces of equipment (Package Engineer).
  • English C1 (
    Advance
    ) Level.
