Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Engineer in EPC or construction projects, preferably in power plant or industrial plant projects.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing quality systems and performing inspections on civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping works.
  • Familiar with relevant standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, etc.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and related standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with ISO standards and client requirements.
  • Monitor and inspect on-site activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works to ensure compliance with approved procedures and drawings.
  • Conduct material receiving inspections and verify compliance with specifications and required documentation (e.g., Mill Test Certificates, Material Inspection Reports).
  • Liaise with third-party inspectors and client representatives during inspections and tests.
  • Coordinate and conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and witness Hydrostatic, Pneumatic, and Functional Tests.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation including inspection reports, test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
  • Support construction teams in resolving quality-related issues.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.
