F5 Load Balancer Engineer

• Monitor traffic and equipment utilization for F5 Load Balancers.
• Perform packet captures, trace routes, and tcpdump analysis for issue isolation.
• Configure and maintain F5 devices, including virtual servers, pools, profiles, SSL offloading, and iRules.
• Troubleshoot F5-related network and application delivery issues.
• Coordinate with F5 vendor support (L3) for advanced troubleshooting and case escalation.
• Assist in deploying new F5 configurations, upgrades, and patches.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on F5 setups, configurations, and topology.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in managing F5 Load Balancers.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in F5 configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of F5 LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, and APM modules.
• Skilled in using tcpdump/Wireshark for network diagnostics.
• Familiar with HA configurations, SSL certificate management, and iRule scripting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Capable of handling incident response under pressure.
