Assistant Financial Manager (Mandarin speaker)

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Handle the representative office's daily accounting, expense reimbursement review, and preparation of monthly/annual financial statements and reports.

Treasury & Banking: Act as the main point of contact with local banks, managing daily banking activities, fund transfers, and foreign exchange matters.

Tax Management & Compliance: Responsible for monthly and annual declarations of all Indonesian tax types (including, but not limited to, PPh, PPN, and Tax Treaty-related matters), ensuring full local compliance.

Contract Compliance: Assist in reviewing financial clauses and tax implications within various company contracts to mitigate financial risks.

Tax Audit Handling: Independently or collaboratively manage and respond to inquiries and tax audits from the Indonesian Tax Authority.

Internal & External Coordination: Serve as a bridge between the Head Office and the local team, assisting the Head Office with financial data consolidation and analysis.

Mandatory Requirements

Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking) as the main working language for communication with the Head Office. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is also required.

Experience: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or taxation. Experience working for a Chinese-invested company or a multinational corporation in Indonesia is a strong advantage.

Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Indonesian Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations. Must have practical experience with the preparation and filing of various Indonesian tax returns.

Skills: Proficient in financial software and standard office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Character: Possesses a meticulous work ethic, high professional integrity, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

For exceptionally qualified candidates with extensive practical Indonesian tax and auditing experience, the compensation budget may be increased to IDR 25,000,000 and above (gross).
