Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the entire procurement function, covering direct materials (raw materials, components) and indirect materials (services, equipment, logistics, utilities, etc.).
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and manufacturing needs.
- Drive supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and other departments to ensure timely material availability and process alignment.
- Establish procurement policies, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and support sustainability initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to enhance capability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing both direct and indirect procurement.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability.
