Purpose of Job

  • To support the Assistant Retail Manager in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring effective visual merchandising standards across all outlets. Plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and driving sales performance through well-executed store layouts, displays, and staff supervision.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT

  • Supervise daily store operations, including opening, closing, cashiering, stock control, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, service standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Support inventory management: oversee receiving, storage, stock rotation, and timely replenishment.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and communicate key performance metrics to the Retail Manager.
  • Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with Procurement/Warehouse for timely replenishment.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

  • Design and implement creative visual displays, layouts, and store arrangements that enhance the in-store experience and highlight product collections.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all outlets through creative and effective merchandising standards.
  • Plan seasonal themes, product launches, and promotional displays in collaboration with the retail and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Retail Manager to balance creative displays with sales performance and inventory needs.
  • Monitor store presentation regularly and adjust displays to maintain freshness and appeal.
  • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to keep the brand presentation relevant and competitive.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the Assistant Retail Manager for improving visual appeal and customer flow.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Retail Manager to train staff on visual merchandising standards and product knowledge to ensure consistent execution.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES SUPPORT

  • Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service aligned with company standards.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to the Assistant Retail Manager for service improvements.

GENERAL

  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding park facilities and retail offerings.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, vendors, and management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Fashion / Apparel Retail industry in a supervisory role.
  • Strong background in visual merchandising and retail display execution.
  • Strong sense of creativity, style, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, sales reporting, and POS systems.
  • Good communication and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is an advantage.
