Overview
THE ROLE:
The position will lead the Planning team in Indonesia and work with cross functional teams both locally and regionally to drive forecast accuracy improvement and control total country finished good inventory level as well as balance inventory across the different access points to meet both service level and inventory management objectives.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Work with local cross functional teams for local S&OP process to review regularly the market forecast and continue drive forecast accuracy
- Regular review market inventory status with latest forecast, highlighting the inventory risks timely and work with Regional team to take necessary actions to minimize the risks.
- Support the team to do the deployment planning to timely replenish products from mother warehouse to other locations in the market.
- Support the kitting planning to ensure the kits' availability in the market.
- Review aged inventory and work with Regional team to minimize the inventory obsolete risk.
- Coordinate to implement any new Planning policy, tools or reports from Global or Regional
- Drive inventory optimization activities for the market.
- Drive continuous improvement process for all the Planning processes locally and collaboration with regional team
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop the team members to grow
- Another assigned task as needed

Interacts with all levels throughout organizations locally and internationally, including close contact with members and vendors.
- Global: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Sourcing
- Regional: Demand and supply management, Logistics, Quality Assurance, GRA, Marketing
- Local: Logistics, Country Management, Sales & Marketing, Distributor Services, Finance
- External: suppliers
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will lead the team of two to coach and grow the team so to meet the business objectives.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- At least 5-10 years working experience in Demand Planning/ Production Planning/ Material Planning/ Distribution Planning
- Minimum 3 years of Supervisor experience of team management
- Strong Computer skills including the complete Microsoft Office package
- Experience with inventory planning systems and ERP software is a must with a preference for Oracle.
- Good communication skills in English (both Oral & Written). Bilingual as native speaker for local market
- Strong analytical & planning Skills. Project management skills will be an added advantage.
- Certificates of CPIM/ CSCP are preferred.
- Good presentation and reporting skills
- Good time management and multi-tasking management skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to changing priorities
- Ability to prioritize works for effective implementation.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels.
- Strong customer service and result orientation.
- Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration / business science and/or Logistics
