PT Sumber Migas Nusantara is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to support our oil and gas operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations across facilities and field sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and maintain mechanical systems, piping, rotating and static equipment.
- Support installation, inspection, and testing of mechanical components to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis on equipment failures.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for maintenance and project execution.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams for project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement reliability improvement initiatives for critical mechanical assets.
- Provide technical support for facility modification, upgrade, and preventive maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in mechanical design, maintenance, or project engineering (oil & gas experience preferred).
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CAESAR II.
- Strong understanding of rotating/static equipment, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
