Job DescriptionAs a Sterilization Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of sterilization standards and practices
- Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for sterilization technologies.
- Developing and validating sterilisation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitoring and maintaining sterilisation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Preparing and reviewing documentation related to sterilisation protocols and procedures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve sterilisation methods.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Providing technical support and training to team members regarding sterilisation processes.
A successful Sterilization Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Diploma with strong experience may be considered)
- Hands‑on experience with sterilization equipment
- Solid understanding of EO and Gamma sterilization technologies
- Familiarity with ISO 11137 and ISO 11135 standards
- Technical knowledge of sterilisation techniques and validation protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team environment.
