About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT Manager / Assistant Manager to lead the maintenance, development, and optimization of our software and hardware infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's IT systems while driving innovation through new technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to translate business needs into efficient IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Software Infrastructure Maintenance & Development

  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and reliability of all enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, internal platforms).
  • Ensure timely patching, version updates, and optimization of operating systems and servers.
  • Manage database performance, security, and integrity.
  • Support the planning, testing, and deployment of new software features, integrations, and rollouts.
  • Collaborate with internal/external development teams to maintain alignment with IT standards and scalability.
  • Manage documentation and version control for all core systems.

2) Hardware Infrastructure Maintenance & Development

  • Manage the operational efficiency of data center components including servers, storage, network devices, and power systems.
  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery (DR) systems are regularly tested and operational.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management of end-user devices.
  • Plan and implement hardware upgrades, virtualization projects, and cloud migrations.
  • Define and maintain standardized hardware configuration documentation.

3) Research & Innovation

  • Continuously research emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven automation, advanced monitoring, new cloud services).
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts (POC) to evaluate new solutions.
  • Develop proposals and business cases for technology adoption, presenting recommendations to senior management.

4) IT Security & Compliance

  • Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO
  • Monitor and manage security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, VPN).
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and patch management.
  • Administer identity and access management systems with proper role-based controls.
  • Maintain and improve incident response protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge across software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Hands-on experience in system integration, cloud environments, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
