Position: Chef de Partie (Pastry)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific station within the pastry kitchen, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Prepare desserts, breads, and baked goods according to standard recipes.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in menu development and training junior staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies for the station.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in a pastry department.
- Strong skills in baking, dessert plating, and pastry techniques.
- A culinary diploma or equivalent professional training.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Creative with a keen eye for detail.
- Passionate about the art of pastry.
