Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef
based in Summarecon Mall Serpong, Indonesia. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety. The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a Japanese or Korean restaurant
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, supervise, and train the kitchen team
  • Ability to join immediately and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Skilled in kitchen paperwork and reporting (inventory, costing, ordering, scheduling)
  • Creative, passionate about Japanese/Korean cuisine, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
