Job Description – Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving hotel revenue goals by developing and maintaining business relationships with key accounts across corporate, MICE, government, and leisure segments. This position plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, executing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with Pullman's premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow assigned market segments (Corporate, MICE, Government, Leisure, etc.).
- Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment to strengthen relationships and secure business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the hotel's market reach.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and other related documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
- Work closely with the Revenue, Marketing, and Reservations teams to maximize profitability.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Provide regular market feedback, competitor analysis, and reports to the Director of Sales.
- Ensure all interactions reflect the Pullman brand image and service philosophy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within an international 4- or 5-star property.
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of market trends, corporate travel, and MICE business.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
- Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems (Opera, Delphi, or similar).
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and result orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for business as required.
Key Account Manager is in charge of ensuring all operational activities of key accounts in stores, including the development of strategies for recruiting and handling new customers, managing databases, and handling existing customers through telecalls or direct visits; managing customer information services; overseeing online operations; managing consumer development programs; and handling complaints to achieve store profits and sales in accordance with the established targets.

Responsibilities
Driving Business Growth
- Conduct in-depth plant trials to effectively demonstrate the quantifiable benefits of Kemin solutions, addressing specific customer pain points and achieving successful implementation.
- Develop and execute targeted customer engagement strategies, including needs assessments, solution presentations, and technical consultations.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical barriers that may hinder customer adoption of Kemin solutions, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting support.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Personally, sales drive growth by establishing businesses with strategic accounts and expanding into new accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Implement pricing strategies that support 100% customer retention, double‑digit year‑over‑year sales growth and gross margin protection
- Maintain a 40% project hit rate through effective pipeline management and customer engagement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring a multi‑contact model and able to identify all key decision makers at a fast past.
- Proactively address customer concerns and champion initiatives to exceed customer expectations, securing long‑term loyalty.
- Promote customer‑centric strategies to retain existing clients and expand wallet share.
- Identify, onboard, and manage new distributor networks to grow the business.
- Align distributor performance with business objectives through regular reviews, training, and performance tracking.
- Strengthen indirect sales channels to support long‑term growth.
In collaboration with the Leadership team, provide strategic directions for Kemin Food Technologies Asia to achieve the business unit leading and lagging indicators. Additional responsibilities may be discussed based on specific business needs and priorities.
Qualifications
- Ideally a degree in Food Science/Biochemistry/Microbiology or other related discipline, from a recognized university
- Strong technical knowledge of food ingredients/processing with 7 years' work experience in bakery & confectionery and/or sauces & seasoning segments

Decision Making & Freedom to Act:
This position reports to the Sales Director, Kemin Food Technologies APAC. It is a "hands‑on" position with significant autonomy, breadth, and flexibility to exceed expectations.
Working Conditions:
The position will operate ideally from a Kemin office and is expected to spend ~50% travelling on customer meetings and plant trials. The position is considered 40 hours per week and requires tremendous flexibility as a customer‑facing role.
