Business / System Analyst (ERP, HIS, and EMR)
The Business Analyst specializes in HIS (Health Information Systems), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to analyze, document, and translate business needs into technical solutions for healthcare and enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical users.
- Expertise in specific HIS/EMR and ERP software.
- Project management and change management skills to support user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business needs for HIS, EMR, and ERP systems.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Technical Specification: Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for the IT department to implement in the systems.
- System Implementation & Testing: Collaborate with IT teams on the implementation and customization of HIS, EMR, and ERP systems and conduct thorough system testing.
- User Support & Training: Provide training, support, and documentation to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the systems.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze system data, create visualizations, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Specific Focus Areas
- HIS/EMR Focus: Understand and document requirements for health information systems, focusing on clinical workflows, patient data management, regulatory compliance (like HIPAA), and user experience for healthcare providers.
- ERP Focus: Analyze and optimize core business processes (like finance, HR, supply chain) and align them with ERP system capabilities to improve efficiency and data integration across departments.
