Job Summary
Responsibilities:
The IT Project Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure and application projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. The IT Project Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users to deploy technology solutions that enhance business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage IT projects (infrastructure, applications, or systems) from initiation to closure.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
- Implement, configure, and support IT systems including servers, networks, cloud solutions, and applications.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide status updates to management.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure IT projects comply with security, compliance, and organizational standards.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users during and after project implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT project implementation (infrastructure, systems, or applications).
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, databases, cloud technologies, and IT security.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
