ob Description – Copywriter (Media Industry)

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented
Copywriter
with a strong background in creative agencies or production houses. In this role, you will be responsible for developing compelling and engaging written content across multiple media platforms—ranging from advertising copy and social media captions to video scripts and branded storytelling.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, understands the rhythm of media production, and is skilled at turning briefs into impactful narratives that align with our brand voice and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conceptualize and Write High-Impact Copy

Craft original and engaging copy for ads, brand campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content. Write scripts for video content including commercials, digital videos, and branded storytelling.

  • Collaborate with Creative Teams

Work closely with art directors, producers, designers, and strategists to brainstorm ideas and execute concepts. Participate in creative briefings and pitch sessions to shape campaign directions.

  • Tailor Content for Multi-Platform Use

Adapt messaging and tone for different formats and channels—TV, social media, websites, OOH, and more. Ensure consistency in brand voice across all media touchpoints.

  • Support Production Process

Provide on-set or in-studio script supervision when needed. Collaborate with video editors and directors to refine storytelling in post-production.

  • Respond to Briefs with Strategic Thinking

Interpret client or internal briefs and transform them into sharp, creative copy that resonates with the target audience. Align copy with marketing and content strategy objectives.

  • Revise and Improve Based on Feedback

Incorporate feedback from creative leads, clients, or editors efficiently and with a positive attitude. Ensure final outputs are polished, clear, and on-message.

  • Stay Current with Industry Trends

Keep up with digital trends, pop culture, and creative writing styles that can enhance storytelling. Propose fresh ideas and angles that keep the brand voice modern and relevant.

Job Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Copywriter in a
    Creative Agency
    ,
    Digital Agency
    , or
    Production House.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work—ads, scripts, campaigns, and digital content.
  • Excellent command of English (and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
  • Familiarity with fast-paced production timelines and collaborative creative workflows.
  • Ability to write with flair, clarity, and persuasive impact.
