Job Title: Accounting & Tax Supervisor

Reporting to: Accounting & Tax Manager / Country Manager

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Liaise with tax consultants for timely submission of monthly tax reports (VAT, PPh 21, 23, 25, 4(2)).
  • Support monitoring of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in preparation of documents for tax audits, tax objections, and appeals.
  • Support consultants in transfer pricing documentation (TPD, Master File, Local File).
  • Ensure transactions comply with company policies and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing requested documents.
  • Recommend improvements in accounting processes and workflows.
  • Supervise and guide admin staff in daily work.
  • Monitor task progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide on-the-job training and share best practices with team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s or professional certification such as CPA, CA, or Brevet A&B is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of Indonesian Taxation Regulation and PSAK (IFRS is a plus).
  • Experience with tax reporting (Coretax) and internal/external audits.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with data management skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Can speak English and Mandarin.
