About the role
Damai Putra Group is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Division Head to join our team in Bekasi, West Java. As the Internal Audit Division Head, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company's internal audit function, ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes. This is a full-time position within our thriving real estate and property management organization.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan to evaluate the company's operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
- Provide strategic guidance and advisory services to the senior management team on matters related to internal controls, risk management, and governance
- Oversee and manage the internal audit team, including delegating tasks, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring the team's efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure the internal audit function complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and address identified risks
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as internal audit manager, preferably within the real estate or property management industry
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus
- Excellent understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and corporate governance best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Experience in leading and managing a team of auditors, including mentoring and developing their skills
