JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources & Compensation Manager is responsible for processing full-cycle compensation and benefits excellence within ARYADUTA, covering allowances, service charge, deductions, payroll, tax, BPJS, HRIS, and medical insurance. This role is vital in maintaining compliance, supporting operational accuracy, and ensuring compliance, and timeliness. Ensuring that all properties consistently meet both company standards and Indonesian regulatory requirements while providing a smooth employee experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Process & Administration

  • Process the end-to-end payroll process for all employees (head office and property-level).
  • Validate and process all payroll components, including:
  • Basic salary, functional & responsibility allowances, transportation, meal allowances, and position-based benefits.
  • Service charge inputs in accordance with hotel data, policy, and employee entitlements.
  • Deductions such as absences, allowances, BPJS employee contributions, and income tax (PPh 21).
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, completeness, with the timely submission each month from the property.
  • Coordinate with Head Office Finance for payroll funding, journal posting, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure each property HR submits all payroll-related documents (attendance, overtime, service charge summary, adjustments, and new hire data) on time and in the correct format.

Income Tax (PPh 21) Reporting

  • Process via HRIS accurate calculation, payment, and filing of employee income tax (PPh 21) on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Ensure compliance with the Directorate General of Tax (DJP) regulations and proper documentation for audit readiness.
  • Provide tax support and advice to property HR teams on employee-related tax queries or adjustments.

Benefits & BPJS Administration

  • Manage and monitor employee benefits programs across all properties, including insurance, leave benefits, and allowances.
  • Administer and ensure full compliance with BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, including:
  • New employee registration, salary updates, and termination reporting.
  • Monthly payment reconciliation and timely submission to BPJS system.
  • Cross-checking of BPJS employee data between payroll, HRIS, and provider records.
  • Review benefit-related policies to ensure alignment with legal standards and company guidelines.

Medical Insurance Oversight

  • Oversee and process all employee movements within the group's medical insurance program, including:
  • Enrolment of new employees and dependents.
  • Removal of resigned or inactive employees.
  • Handling status changes (e.g., marriage, childbirth).
  • Reconcile medical insurance coverage lists with monthly payroll and HRIS data.
  • Review medical utilization and cost trends to recommend improvement actions and budget adjustments.

HRIS Database Management

  • Maintain and update the HRIS database, ensuring data integrity and completeness across all employee profiles.
  • Ensure timely input of all changes (promotions, transfers, benefits updates, and salary revisions).
  • Support system improvement initiatives and generate payroll and manpower reports as required.
  • Provide guidance and training to property HR teams on HRIS data management standards.

Reporting, Compliance & Audit

  • Prepare relevant data and reports for payroll, PPh 21, BPJS, and insurance as per Indonesian law.
  • Support on periodic audits on property-level payroll submissions, benefits calculations, and tax documentation.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation data and personal information.

Compensation Strategy & Advisory Support

  • Conduct periodic benchmarking of pay and benefits against market and industry standards.
  • Support Group HR in salary reviews, merit increase planning, and incentive structures.
  • Provide advisory support to property HR teams regarding pay equity, tax compliance, and local labour regulations.
  • Collaborate with Finance for manpower budgeting, cost forecasting, and annual payroll reconciliation.

Others:

  • Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned, which will be outlined separately. KPIs may include, but are not limited to, targets related to productivity, quality, efficiency, compliance, and contributions to team or departmental objectives.
  • Accept temporary or permanent transfers to another section, department, or Aryaduta property, as required by business needs and performance considerations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior, which are relevant to the role and support departmental or organizational objectives.
  • Lead or participate in special HR projects, such as diversity initiatives, organizational restructuring, or cultural transformation programs.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

DNA:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 8–10 years in HR or Payroll, with at least 4 years specializing in Compensation & Benefits at corporate or multi-property level, ideally in a hospitality group.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesia's Manpower Law, Income Tax (PPh 21), BPJS Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan, and medical insurance administration.
  • Proficiency in Excel, payroll and HRIS platforms (SAP, Oracle, SunFish, GreatDay HR, or similar).
  • Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and time management skills under strict payroll deadlines.
