About the role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Export Import to join our team at PT BDP Indonesia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant import and export operations for our organisation. Working in our Semarang, Central Java office, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials across international borders.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate all import and export activities, including customs clearance, documentation, and shipping logistics
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and international trade agreements
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or bottlenecks
- Analyse data and provide reports on import/export performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Train and supervise a team of import/export specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness
What we're looking for
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Logistics, Suply Chain Management, Transportation Management or any major
- Minimum 3 years experiences as coordinator or team leader or same positions, in freight forwarding/logistic business (as Operations and Sales)
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Has ability in Mandarin both oral and written (preferably)
- Understand how to handle/Check Import & Export Declaration (PIB/PEB)
- Have experience in handling Import & Export with KITE facility
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Posses effective supervisory skill
- Able to work under pressure and target oriented
- Domicile in Semarang
