Role:
The Fabrication Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all fabrication activities in the plant, including cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing processes. This position ensures that production meets quality standards, cost efficiency, delivery schedules, and workplace safety compliance, while also driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

: Develop production schedules, allocate manpower, machines, and materials to meet targets on time. - Operations
: Ensure fabrication processes comply with SOP, implement Lean Manufacturing, and minimize waste. - Quality
: Guarantee final products meet industry standards, address non-conformance, and prevent customer complaints. - Leadership
: Lead and coach teams (chiefs, supervisors, technicians, welders, fitters) while developing technical skills. - Cost Efficiency
: Optimize machine utilization, workforce effectiveness, and control overtime costs. - HSE
: Enforce workplace safety compliance and foster a zero-accident culture. - Reporting
: Deliver accurate and timely production reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in fabrication (preferably with exposure to oil & gas, steel construction, or heavy manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and ASTM.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes.
- Familiar with Production Planning & Control (PPC), material management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficient in software tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP/ERP, and Excel.
- Good understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) with proven ability to implement K3/HSE systems in the workplace.
- Willing to be assigned at workshop or project sites as required by the company.
