Warehouse & Logistic Manager
to lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations in the telecommunication sector. The role covers warehouse planning, inventory accuracy, transportation management, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure on-time material delivery, efficient system integration, and team development to drive operational excellence.
Job Description
Planning & Strategy
Develop & implement Warehouse Management strategies including Warehouse capacity, layout, inventory, workforce & shifts and budgeting.
Formulate and execute logistics strategies encompassing demand forecasting, transportation, route optimization, contingency planning, and budgeting.
Warehouse Management
Responsible for managing day–to-day warehouse operations including stock recording, barcoding, storing goods, picking, packaging, stock accuracy, availability and system integration.
- Design an efficient warehouse layout, including storage for large items (poles, panels) and sensitive items (electronic devices).
- Ensure the accuracy between inventory, tools, and materials in the system and the actual stock, including conduct regular stock opname (inventory audits).
- Responsible for ensuring warehouse activity with established procedures.
Supervise warehouse facility maintenance and safeguard materials from damage or loss.
System & Process Control
Implement and monitor logistics & warehouse SOPs tailored to the telecommunication industry.
- Integrate logistics & warehouse systems with internal project management systems.
Ensure all logistics and warehouse operations comply with company policies and government regulations.
Logistics & Distribution Management
Manage transportation modes (land, sea, air) for delivering telecommunication materials and ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor transport vendor performance and negotiate rates.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, government agencies, and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations (including special transport permits when required).
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of logistic & warehouse team.
- Enhance staff knowledge to improve the competency of logistic & warehouse team.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Min years of experience in logistics & warehouse, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in telecommunication, infrastructure, or construction projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in managing multi-site distribution and handling materials for large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, inventory control, warehouse management
- Familiar with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and ERP/SAP software.
- Strong in communication, leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
